The Friends of Benhurst (FOB) raises thousands of pounds each year which all goes towards the children of Benhurst School.

  • Funding for the regeneration of the pond/outdoor nature area
  • Contribution towards school lockers for KS2
  • Range of sports equipment for KS2 playground
  • Outdoor activity area/climbing frame for KS1
  • Book bags for incoming YR children
  • Leavers hoodies for Y6
  • Christmas class parties and crackers for Christmas lunch
  • Musical instruments
  • Annual pantomime
  • Soft furnishings for new library
  • Role play station for YR

A very easy way to raise funds for the school is through easyfundraising (www.easyfundraising.org.uk). Every time you shop online with some of the big retailers you earn cash back for the school. Companies include Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Waitrose, M&S, Tesco, Boots, Sports Direct, Currys and ASOS. To support the school though this scheme, log on to the Easy Fundraising website using the link above, search for Friends of Benhurst, enter your details and set up a personal password. Once this is in place, go ahead and shop online using the links on the page as you would normally. For every purchase made through the scheme, the school receives cash back. It’s a quick and easy way to make money for the school without too much hard work!

Another fantastic scheme we always look for support with is through money matching. Many employers participate in this scheme which means if a parent runs a stall at an event which raises money, the employer will match the amount raised on that stall.
