BEC Teacher Training
BEC Teacher Training
At Benhurst, we believe we have a responsibility to support the development of trainee teachers. In 2015, Benhurst begun working with the BEC. Currently, we have 4 fantastic teachers who were trained through the BEC and we are delighted to continue to offer placements to trainees as they begin their teaching career. Why chose the BEC?
They understand what makes an outstanding trainee! The BEC works with a large network of partnership schools throughout Essex and Havering who are passionate about training and developing outstanding and confident teachers. Training schools design and deliver the programme reflecting on the real demands and challenges teachers face in the classroom. Every trainee is an individual and they aim to meet their particular needs through an inspiring training experience in our schools in Essex and Havering.
They provide bespoke training of the highest quality, and over the last five years 100% of trainees have passed the course with Qualified Teacher Status and gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with 60 Master credits. In addition, 100% of their trainees gain employment, often in one of the Essex or Havering training schools.
